Drifting between moody downtempo and upbeat, densely layered material geared for club play, Tennessee's LOVESKA was the project of Dillion Will. Will spent his high school years playing drums and making hip-hop beats. Dillion ultimately dropped out of his sophmore year at MTSU in Murfreesboro to focus on his music. He made his recorded debut as LOVESKA in 2014 when he released an EP called Omega after signing with Rocket Tone Records. Will supported his release with gigs for acts including 3lau, The Floozies, and Griz. From here he kept up a busy release schedule for the next few years, issuing an EP called BodyLanguage in 2016 and another named Krush the following year. In 2021 Will released his first full length album titled EROTICA. Since then LOVESKA has performed a large number of shows and festivals in North America including Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, Ubbi Dubbi, and many more. Will continues to tour and develope his Loveska music imprint, releasing a new EP called FUTURE LOVE SOUNDS (released June 6th 2022). This experimental project is filled with countless new sounds that will take his music career to the next level. So make sure to catch him on tour this year in a city near you. LOVESKA is the new sensual sensation for many, and the future of electronic dance music.
FUTURE LOVE SOUNDS EP
1. GENESIS
2. THE FUTURE
3. THE LOVE
4. THE SOUNDS
Q: Why did you choose "FUTURE LOVE SOUNDS" for the title of your EP?
A: I feel like it described the project best. Every song was a different part of what I wanted my music to sound like since the day I began producing.
Q: What songs off the new EP are looking forward to playing live most?
A: I would have to answer with 'THE FUTURE" because its a a heavy banger and who doesnt love a banger?! Also "THE LOVE" because I put a lot of emotion into this track and I cant wait for my fans to feel what I have felt creating it.
Q: What is the EP cover mean to you?
A: I wanted to physically capture the future of the LOVESKA music so I did a heart for love surounded in a futuristic background.
Q: You are always so sweet to all your fans and I wanted to know what the sweetest thing a fan has done for you?
A: My fans have givin me a job. So thank you and I love each of you for it!!! #blessed
Q: Would you ever date one of your fans?
A: I would like to think that all the women I have dated up to this point were fans of my music so.... Been there done that. And I love all of them to this day.
Q: Why did you choose to have no features on this EP?
A: I dont know really.
Q: Is it easier to write music when you are feeling low or feeling high?
A: I guess it all just depends on what you are trying to write. If you try and write a happy song while you are sad it doesnt work out great. I just like to lean into what Im feeling and produce off of that feeling.
Q: Did you create any music while on drugs during this project?
A: NO COMMENT.
Q. What track was the hardest to produce on this EP?
A: I would have to say "THE SOUNDS". This track was the first song I produced but took months to finish. Very frustrating. I actually had a whole 10 song album produced for this project and I deleted the whole thing because it was not what I was wanting to create. I really took this EP to heart and that always makes things harder to complete.
Q: Whats your favorite track on this project?
A: I would love to say all of them but "THE LOVE" will always be my favorite track I have ever created for reasons I choose not to say.

Erotica [Album Review]
Hype Edm Magazine
By: Tony Mathews
This year holds a stunning number of albums both out now and coming soon to the world of electronic dance music. Jumping into the mix with an album of his own is a producer known for his beautiful piano melodies that tie together heavy bass synths and tasteful vocal chops. Known to the world as Loveska, Dillion Will has just released his latest project Erotica and it is worth a listen.
The first time I heard Loveska’s musical endeavors was through a tune that was (and still is) absolutely captivating called “Shadows” (which was his first original track released). Ever since, I have kept him on my radar. Seeing his music evolve from his debut EP, Omega, to more recent releases such as “Numb” and “Romance”, Loveska has taken the next logical step of his music career with Erotica.
The album is a ten track LP that explores the most recent ventures into his signature sexy dubstep style with groovy basslines and moody synths. As the title suggests, the album teases ears with a sense of combining the soundscapes of EDM with the emotional nature of erotic love.
We are introduced to the album with a strong intro track that pumps powerful synths and bustling drums into the first minutes of the LP. With plenty of instrumental tracks in this album, Loveska makes it clear that he wants to demonstrate what he can do of his own accord with minimal assistance. The mood changes with follow-up tracks “Erotica” and “Monster Inside” that carry his crusade of piano and drums across the eerie ambiance he’s crafted. From here, Loveska leads listening ears into a more future-trap hybrid section of the album with the track “Super Soak Her”.
Then follows the first vocal track which proves the pure talent Loveska has when working with incredible artists. Called “Porters X2”, rapper/songwriter $trange and his vocal-prowess raise this tune to greater heights than the song could have ever done alone. The bass growls in contrast to $trange’s hard tone only for the song to end in a melodic manner. To keep the vibes going is the sixth track of the album known as “Galactic Booty”. With this we see Loveska’s production at its absolute best and the result is a grimy-dubstep, intergalactic creation that leaves my ears content.
Halfway through the album and we get to a couple of the more atmospheric, future bass type tracks of the album. With “Fore Play” and “Kool Whip”, listeners are left gliding through a travesty of melody and hype in two of the most synth driven tunes off the entire album. It jumps back into the hard-hitting suave with “Creature” which features singer Kyle Cartwright. Showcasing his unique vocal talent, Kyle’s voice is joined with some intricate drum fills and heavy bass growls making this collaboration another amazing tune.
With a melodic edge and the grungier bass, “Heart Attack”, makes for a strong end to the album. In this track we are treated to the heaviest dubstep sounds on the album.
After listening to this album several times, I was surprised to find myself more calm than anything else after hearing it. Rather than go for an album full of just hard and heavy “bangers”, Loveska goes for an ambient and more personal feel with his first album ever. However, taking this approach does not make every song as immediately re-listenable as I was hoping they would be. This does not mean the songs are bad, but it does mean that they are meant to be played and heard in the right setting. This is what makes Erotica a special album in many ways.
Loveska is releasing his first full length album (Erotica) on Valentines Day, Febuary 14th 2021!!!
Loveska is currently touring the United States promoting his upcoming album release, "EROTICA".
KRUSH EP
1. Krush
2. Hovering ft. Candida Mia
3. FarAway Love
4. GlitterBombs
5. DejaVu
Q: How would you describe your sound?
A: My sound changes from track to track because I create my music from feelings and every feeling has a different sound. Most of the tracks on this album (Krush) have a very melodic feel, wrapped with a mix of heavy synth and bass.
Q: What are your career highlights?
A: One of the greatest opportunities that my music career has brought me is traveling to Hawaii to do 8 shows in 10 days for Mick Fleetwood. The vibes that I had while performing there were indescribable. I also have been able to meet and perform with so many of the artists that influence me, like Pretty Lights, 3lau, Floozies, Matoma, Bassnector, Rezz, Griz and so many more.
Q: How do you spend your time?
A: I had a residency at Scene, Nashville. But I've been touring playing festivals across the world and spending time in the studio creating tracks for myself and many other artists as a ghost writer.
Q: Explain ghost writer?
A: Artists from all genres of music hire writers/producers such as myself to create tracks, lyrics and composition of songs for them.
Q: Release/download stats?
A: My past releases are Omega (2014), BodyLanguage (2016), and my newest EP Krush (released 07/11/2017). My biggest singles are Shadows, Hypnotic, and Freak Me. My releases have always found a top spot on Reverbnation's and Edmsounds' Top Hits list.
Q: What inspired you to start being a DJ
A: I wanted to be able to perform my own original music and share the experience of those sounds with everyone across the world in hopes they dig the shit out of it.
Q: How did you discover your sound?
A: I made a lot of bad sounds first. After spending countless days, months, and years working my ass off I finally feel as though I'm getting to where I imagined myself being. Obviously never going to stop trying and discovering new ways to create new sounds and layer sounds.
Q: When did you start?
A: I came out with my first original Omega in 2014 when I first signed with Rocket Tone Records.
Q. What's it like to get to work with Eric Mellencamp and Rocket Tone Records?
A: Having someone with the knowledge of the business like Eric is something any artist would dream of! Rocket Tone Records is a family. Everyone works together to better themselves and each other.
Q: Where are you based / where are you from?
A: I'm based out of Dallas, TX but I am from Milwaukee, WI. I spend lots of time in Nashville producing music with Eric Mellencamp and a team of writers and producers for Rocket Tone Records
Q: Who are your musical influences?
A: Prince by far is my favorite. I could watch him perform forever. My favorite producers are Illenium and Getter! I love how inventive Getter is with his sounds, none of his music ever sounds the same. Illenium has the ability to make you feel a genuine connection and love for that moment you are listening to his music.
